2004 Kia Amanti My Car has gone A-Wall

Me and my wife have a 2004 Kia Amanti and the trunk lock assembly had gone out a few weeks ago. It seemed jammed and the trunk wouldn't close... yesterday my wife decided to see if she could slam it shut and did. A few hours later she went to leave and the keyless entry remote would not work.. not the unlock, lock, trunk, nor alarm function would do anything. . She then tried to manually open the door with her car key and the key only turned and turned and turned not opening the door not to mention the key is stuck in the door and wont come out...

PLEASE HELP!!

Is the key stuck in the trunk tumbler?
