2004 Kia Amanti 52000 miles

I have a V-6 2004 Kia Amanti with 52K---I was told I would need to replace the timing chain after 50K for a cost at the dealership of about 425.00---Am I on borrowed time waiting to get this done?

MANUFACTURER'S SUGGESTED SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
For Amanti and Sorento, the manufacturer recommends the belt be inspected every 20,000 miles (severe service) or 30,000 miles (normal service), and replaced at 40,000 miles (severe service) or 60,000 miles (normal service). For all other models, the manufacturer recommends the belt be replaced every 60,000 miles, except in California. In California, inspect timing belt at 60,000 miles, and replace as necessary.
