Neither of my key fobs work now. I never had any issues before. I'm thinking either a fuse or the receiver needs to be replaced. Anyone have knowledge of this and where to find the receiver location? Fuses to check if there is any for this? Thanks

Hi,

Do you mean the keyless entry isn't working but the vehicle still runs? Let me know. If it is only the keyless entry, have you replaced the batteries in the key fob?

If the battery is good, try resetting the fob. To do this, simply remove the battery in the key fob for a few minutes and then reinstall it.

Let me know.

Yes, I had one for at work with me the other was 45 miles away at home. Neither fobs will work. I have replaced batteries in both units. Haven't tried pulling batteries yet from both units to reset.

Hi,

If you replaced the batteries, you already reset them. Is it just the keyless entry? Also, let me know if you have a scan tool that can scan the can-bus.

Let me know.

I have an Autophix scanner. But I'm not sure if that's a good enough scanner. It isn't picking up any codes.

Hi,

If it is a basic scan tool, it won't pick up codes related to this. It is more than likely designed for powertrain codes only.

By any chance, could you get your hands on a scan tool that can scan the can-bus?

I managed to scan the central locking system, pulled two codes. B122F29 drivers side contact switch, and code B122D29 lock unit for central locking system implausible signal.

Hi,

Based on the codes, I suspect the door lock control module has failed. They are known for a micro switch internally to fail.

The driver's door module is integral to the window motor regulator. See pics below.

If this is to be replaced, the new components need to be coded to the vehicle.

Let me know.

Joe
