When I put key into key lock the lock inside doesn't pop up to unlock. The buttons work the lock just fine.

Sounds like the lock cylinder may not be connected anymore with the rod that connect to the actuator or the cylinder has stripped out.

Either way I would pull the door panel off and investigate. Here is a guide that will this:

More than likely once you get the panel off you are going to have to replace the lock so here is another guide that will help with this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/test-or-change-electric-power-door-locks

I attached the process from the manual that will help as well with this.

Please run through this and let us know what you find.

Thank you for your help. But I can't seem to figure out where the rod that goes from lock switch and hooks into the actuator. Apparently someone had worked on this door before and I was missing that rod. I have it now. Just don't know where it hooks onto the actuator. Please advise and thank you in advance.

Okay. I understand. If you have the rod then it shows how it connects to the cylinder in the previous instructions. However, it connects to the actuator shown below.

There is a clip that will open up and grips the threaded part of the rod when the lock is in the lock or unlock position.

Basically the lock position and actuator just need to be in the same position when you clip this on the rod to make sure it is adjusted properly.

See below for this detail. Thanks
