My car key won’t turn, and the steering wheel is unlocked but my key just doesn’t work, I also tried a spare key, and the same thing happened.

The first thing to do is to see if the steering wheel has pressure on it, which will happen if the front wheels are turned, and you shut the engine off. Try to pull the wheel to release the pressure and try turning the key.

If none of these work, you will need to replace the ignition lock because it has come apart internally. Here is how to change it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
