I can't get the key to turn off

Got home last night and i can't get the key to turn off. we bought a new ignition switch and i need to install it. Help please!

Hello,

This happens when the shift cable starts to comes apart and looses its adjustment. Here are diagrams and instructions on how to fix the problem. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.
