Key will turn on but very hard to get to start?

Can turn the key fine but very hard and lucky to get it to connect. Replaced ignition where key goes, but still the same.

So, is this hard to start the engine or hard to get the engine to crank over, can you upload a quick video of what is going on? It sounds like the engine will not crank over, which 9 times out of 10 will be the starter motor. Here is a guide to help and the starter location and replacement instructions in the guides below:
