key turns on but will not turn enough to crank engine i've tried turning the steering wheel to different positions and I've tried making sure it's all the way in park . It just stops turning, some times it would be hard to turn one you get to the point where the car should be starting and I'd just move the steering wheel.

Between the tumbler and the ignition switch, there is a rod. Either that is broken, disconnected, or the tumbler itself is bad. Have you tried a different key?
