Key is stuck in the "on" position. Have to disconnect battery to turn off the engine. What could cause this and how to get it out at least?

Hey CHRIS,
What happens is the key and tumbler wear out locking the ignition to the on position, you must replace the key and tumblers with a new unit. This will take some special tools to pull the steering wheel off.
If you could take some pics while doing the job and posting them it would be great!
