The engine has been replaced. The key has worked several days. I got in it Friday, put the key in, engine would not turn over. It did nothing, the gauges did not come on. Then I could not get the key out. Any suggestions on how to key out ?

Good morning,

The battery is dead. You need to charge the battery. Once power gets back into the system, the key will release.

You need to have the battery load tested and the charging system tested to be sure the alternator is working.
