Key stuck in ACC position

Cannot take key out stops at ACC. I have to unhook battery to get it out.

Hello,

It sounds like the key interlock unit might be bad, but to be sure lets remove the fuses # f4 and #f17 to see if the problem stops. Here are the fuse locations and the shift interlock wiring diagram so you can see how it works.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.

Is the fuses in the car or by the engine?

The fuse panel is by the dashboard might be under a small panel, look for something that you can open or just under the dash. My book does not show its exact location. Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
