I replaced my battery and now my Key fob does not work and the car will not start. I saw a video on YouTube were a person installed a push button start and still had the original ignition in it. He would turn the original key to the on position and then flip a switch that he installed and then push the push button start and it would start right up. Could you send me instructions on how to install this or something similar. And how do I get my Key fob to work again?

why don't you just try resetting the anti theft in the car if no manual look online for your car on how to do it. when a battery is disconnected it engages the anti theft unit.

with a Mercedes it may be something you have to drag back to the dealer to do as well. I'm not a Mercedes mechanic but that is what happens on most vehicles when a battery is disconnected.
