When I got this car the transmitter worked.Recently it stopped working so I replaced the battery and cleaned the contacts. However,it still didn't work.I tried the spare key transmitter with no results and even tried the new battery in it and it still doesn't work.Could it be the receiver in the door? Please let me know what you think the problem is.Thank you BOB.

Yes. More than likely the module is the failure. However, you should have some codes to go along with that. I would suggest checking the code first because if you replace that module it requires programming.

I attached all the detail about this for your review. If you have a code let me know what it is and I can get you the testing info just to confirm.

How do I obtain the code? Is it hard getting to the receiver?

You use a scan tool to check for codes in the body controller. I attached the replacement process.
