It sounds like the starter is going bad but to be sure lets test for power at the starter solenoid trigger wire, if it has power in the crank position and the starter is not working we need to replace the starter, but we should make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight as well. Please go over this guide and I included the starter location and how to change it out in case you need it.
