What is the question? How is the key and gearshift frozen? Can you turn the key to the start position and start the car?

the key is frozen in the ignition and will not start.

Does the key come out? Try rocking the steering wheel back and forth while turning the key. If you have another key, try it to eliminate the problem with the key. But let me know first if the key is stuck in or you just cannot get the key to turn over.
