Keeps dying

When I come to a stoplight and stop the engine sputters and slowly dies 50-70% of the time. But I can throw it back in park and start it right back up. Only light that is on is engine light which just started showing. Any ideas. Please

And if I throw it in nuetral when I stop then it stays on idleing

TAKE IT TO A POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORE, THEY WILL SCAN FOR CODES, THIS IS USUALLY A FREE SERVICE.
