The starter will not crank the motor. With the key in start position I get power to the hot terminal of the starter but nothing at the solenoid.

I would try starter it in neutral to test the gear range sensor, next I would swap out the starter relay in the fuse panel under the hood. Here is the guide that will help and i have included the wiring diagrams for the starter so you can see how the system works.

Hello Ken: I had a friend come over to help me with your suggestions. What he did after following all of your suggestions was to use a remote starter button and try to start it while I had the switch it in run and Bingo! The darned thing started right up. Turned it off and tried to start it again using the key. Viola, it started right up. He said it must have been a flat spot it the starter., Anyway, it works okay now. Thanks for all of your help and assistance. I am telling all of my friends about your web site. You are the greatest! Thanks again, Jim Donovan.
