this is the third time my saturn has jumped time. why would the timing chain keep coming loose enough for it to jump time this much? I would send you a picture and the receipt for my new tensioner but it would only help my argument that you dont know what you are talking about. I know saturn has had problems with their tensioner and I need a REAL mechanic to come up with a solution.

The early chain tensioners had issues before 2003 though so are you doing the chains your self?If so what brands are using? Also are you replacing the whole kit chain guides bolts etc?Because the bolts are torque to yield meaning they are replaced when they are removed. So when you say they keep failing what exactly is happening?iam not there to see what's going on.
