Jumped time

The car started backfiring. replaced timing belt. Now the key doesn't want to work or it just wont stay running.

Hi,

Are you able to keep it running? Also, how far did the timing jump? All but a couple of v6 Honda (3.0L and 3.2L) engines are interference engines. Something internally may have been damaged if the belt broke or jumped.

Do me a favor. Record it cranking and starting and upload it for me to hear.

I attached the directions for belt replacement below. Review them and see if there is anything you missed.
