I tried to jump the car and accidentally crossed the wires and now nothing works.

no accessories, does not turn over, nothing. The only thing that seems to work is the interior light turns on very dimly.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

It's odd that nothing works but dim interior lights. By chance, have you checked the battery itself? It may have internally shorted. If you have a voltmeter or multimeter, see if it is producing 12+ volts.

Next, there is a main fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. It's a 125-amp SBF fuse. If you look at pic 1 below, note that power from the battery goes there first and is distributed. Check that fuse (see pic 2). When checking, make sure the fuse is good and there is power to and from it.

Here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe

Thanks, it was the battery, it was shorted. Replaced it and it started right up no problem.
Was expecting the worse, but it was a 200$ lesson.
