Hello, I have a the car listed above duratec ti-vct.

When I am setting off in the morning my car is fine and does not suffer the problem I am about to explain.

One the engine has warmed up and I am setting off from a standing start gear first to second will judder. Gear second to third is fine and it appears the quicker I set off the less juddering I will get.

Have you any ideas?

Hello,

It sounds like the engine is misfiring and needs a tune up but to be sure can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise, that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Here is as guide to help walk you through the repair be sure to service the throttle actuator as well with diagrams below to show you on your car. Use motorcraft parts

Disconnect the battery before you service the throttle body
