Vehicle randomly starts shaking while stopped or idle?

So, this happens when stopped at a red light, but it's not every time. The whole car starts shaking pretty hard and it only stops when the car is restarted.

Hi,

That could be caused by a few things. I need confirmation that it is a 1.8L gasoline engine. Is that correct?

If so, first, see if there are any major vacuum leaks.

Next, I need to know if the check engine light stays on while the engine is running. Additionally, once off an idle, does the engine perform as it should?
