Runs rough, jerking, bucking

Well my car. Is acting up. It’s running rough.
it starts bucking and jerking. Then comes out of it. I don’t know what’s wrong with it.

Hi,

Can you tell me what size engine is in the vehicle? Also, is the check engine light staying on when the engine is running? Is it flashing when the engine is running?

I'm asking simply because there can be several things that can cause what you described. If the light is on, it should point us in the right direction.

Check engine on and 3.5 liter.

I realize most people don't own a scan tool, but often times a parts store will do it free of charge. Lets start with that. Have that done and let me know what codes are retrieved so I can better direct you.
