Every morning when I start the car and put it into drive, it jerks quite bad and usually stalls. Start it for the second time and it is fine all day, every time you start it. Until the next morning.

May be a fuel pressure problem, fuel may be leaking back into the tank over night, try this next morning you start. Cycle the key to on and do not start, hold there for two to three seconds and turn off, do this two to three times and then do a normal start. If it runs and drives normally, you probably have a drain back problem to look into. Let me know how this works first.

Hi, thanks for your reply to my question. I have tried what you said but the same thing happened. Jerked forward and stalled.

It sounds like the engine is misfiring. Can you shot a quick video of the way the engine is acting so we can see it? Upload the video here at your reply.

Best, Ken

When I bought it there was a loud whirring noise and this was the gearbox. Put it in to be fixed and the gearbox bearings were replaced. It has been doing this since then but it is to far to take it back to the gearbox company that did the bearings.

This car will set a specific misfire code, so a scan will help here to isolate the problem.
