My car listed above has been having problems with jerking and shutting off when accelerating. The car will have a check engine light come on and it will go away. I was having a map sensor code, but I have already replaced the map sensor which fixed the car for maybe a week and now it’s happening again. Every time the car jerks it’ll say service sec and service traction control. Not every time that the message comes up does the car shut off. The message also goes away and never stays on the car while I’m driving.

This sounds like you have a weak fuel pump, but we should run the codes to see which ones are stored, which can help us head in the right direction for the repair.

Here is a guide to help:

It could be a fuel pressure sensor or MAF sensor as well, this is why we need to codes. Please go over this guide and get back to us.
