jercking and acceleration hesitation, exhaust whistle and inability to climb hill

2001 TOYOTA CAMRY

When i start it after some time it will jerck and if i tries to accelerate while in motion it equally jerck. Very slow in climbing hill and exhaust whistles when i accelerates harder.

Is the check engine light on? Have you checked to see if the catalytic converter is plugging?

Yes the check engine light is on and the catalytic converter is plugging.
