I have a 99 Jeep wrangler sport with close to 90,000 miles on her. I disconected the battery when i did this but stupidly still I pressure washed the interior to get the mud out. I let it dry out but guess not good enuf. Now when I turn on the ignition there is a fast clicking noise comming from the blinker switch. It slows down to normal blinker spead when I turn on the blinkers or hazzards. Everything else seams to not be affected. My stero did say power surge for a little bit. How can I fix this? and can I water proof it so this doesnt happen again?

take the flasher out and install a new one. water that is traped inside the electrical componets can cause a lot of problems, check all the connections in reference to the electrical. sounds like you go mudden. My son did the same thing in florida and he was not able to start his truck for 4 days.
