I was trying to install an aftermarket brake light system. I had to cut and splice the 3rd brake light wiring. After doing so, none of the brake lights work. I checked the fuses under the hood and no issues there... Are there other fuses I should check?

there should be a set of fuses near the drivers side kick panel or in the glove box.
