2005 Jeep Wrangler fuel sensor

when just filled, guage does not go to full until engine is shut off and started 2nd time. last night, fueled, drove home, parked and every two min there was a buzz sound. we started engine and it went away, is this the fuel sensor?

Hmmm, i would say it is more fuel pump related for sure. The fuel level sensor and pump are all together and if you are hearing a buz i would think that would be the pump begining to act up. Listen at the tank to confirm its the pump you are hearing. Also i would run a pressure check on the pump and see where you are at. If its getting weak it would show there. Try and do this when you are hearing the humming if possible. ALso with the fuel level you can try and rap on the tank and see if it goes up any more??? Let me know what you come up with. Thanks Curt
