I just purchased this jeep and notice that when it is not in 4X4 the front drive shaft rotates when moving. My F250 does not unless in 4X4.

Does the transfer case on jeeps suppose to desingage the front drive shaft when not in 4X4 or do I have a problem to resolve?

It should have a pod on the passenger side that engages the axle when in 4x4. Curt
