I have a 2003 Jeep Wrangler, V6, manual. When the vehicle is cold it starts just fine. If I drive the Jeep on a short trip, it will not restart as the engine barely turns over (I'm thinking the battery is going out). Also, when I jump start the vehicle, it runs very rough and will not idle. Is this all related to a bad battery or is there something else?

The engine are you getting hotter than normal?-could be overheating causing excessive friction on the engine

Get the battery load tested to check its condition/double check all connection on the cable both ends/make sure its cleaned/tighten-

If you've disconnected the battery it might need computer relearning.
