The passenger side seat belt will not lock on my son's jeep. Do I need to remove the entire seat belt assembly to replace the retractor or do I need to replace the entire assembly? I believe a T-45 Tork socket is used to remove the entire assembly.

Any suggestions?

How about possibly fixing the problem, prior to replacement??!!

One of our vehicles had a "non-locking seatbelt", After investigating it for a while, I gave it a shot of WD40.

Still no locky.

With a flashlight, in low light, I peered around in it, THERE....standing on end....VERY HARD TO SEE....WAS A PENNY!!!

In a spot, that was unfishable.

Worked fine ever since, I removed the assembly and shook it out.

Maybe this will help you, and no spendy money.

Love, Turddog
