Hi,
I was driving home yestseday when I suddenly lost power. I pulled over and found out that the clamps that hold the u joint became loose and the diferential became unattatched.
I replaced the u joint and whent to drive it home. When I started driving it, it started to shake back and forth vigorousiy. I pulled over and parked it.

That's my problem. Can you help me?

Thanks,
Jeff

PS. My left rear tire is a little low on air pressure. Could this be the problem?

See my profile. Were you shaking prior to th discovery of the "U" joint issue?

While you are at it, crawl back under and INSURE your new "U" joint is CENTERED in the DRIVESHAFT YOKE. AND. CENTERED in the DIFFERENTIAL YOKE ! (I mean, its IN-BETWEEN, and SEATED DOWN inside the little EARS, NOT RIDING on TOP of either side).

If you are low on air, you know the drill, I wouldn't think the air issue, would cause the shaking.

Let me know the deal, maybe can still help you.

Still want to know your findings.

Love, Turddog
