2000 Jeep Wrangler clutch

When releasing the clutch the car has a shaking feel to it until the clutch engages.Is there any thing I can check myself or should I have a mechanic check it? Thank you

Hi there,

This can be a few things, worn clutch plate, faulty pressure plate, oil on clutch, hot spots on fly wheel, i would get a mechanic to test and report for you.
