2000 Jeep Wrangler

I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler and the blower motor only works when it wants to. I took it to the car place and they tested to see what was wrong with it. They told me it had a bad connection and I would have to replace the blower motor. This would cost me way more than I have. Is there a cheaper solution?

The next best thing to do is to go to a junk yard and pick one up for a few bucks and see how that goes.

Can't think of anything brilliant for you, but if it's just a bad connection, then I would try my best to clean up that bad connection and see if I had any improvements. (Depending on why of course the bad connection exists? Rust? Water leak?)

if it's rust - SOS pads / steel wool. Clean it up real good - then use silicone dielectric grease on the connections to keep that nasty water from coming back.
