when u get around 40 to 50 mile an hour it shimmy's so bad it is hard to hold it in the road'''but when u get past 55 it will stop''''why or what is wrong'''

Hi there,

Start with getting the tyres checked for a problem and also get them rotated and balanced do the simple things first a nd re post if you still have a problem.

I've recieved this answer too many times and finally discovered it was the steering damper or stabilizer. Try that, if balancing your tires doesn't help.
