Inside the car I hear a hissing noise like an air hose going off. When I step on the brake pedal it goes away

Suspect faulty/damaged vacuum hose. Inspect all vacuum hoses, especially brake booster hoses since braking stops the hissing.

The last post has it right but one other problem is the booster itself. They begin leaking vaccum and is heard inside the cab and it does go away when you press the pedal. You will have to replace the booster itself to fix the problem. Let us know how it comes out thanks Curt
