I recently did a brake job on my front disc brakes. I replaced the rotors and pads on both sides, then bled the brakes. As I pulled it out of the garage I realized that my drivers side was dragging. I bled the brakes again and tryed to move the Jeep again with no change. i got on line and found a lot of people suggested changing the caliper. Changed the caliper on the drivers side, bled the brakes again and now both sides are locked up. The brakes lock up so tight that it makes the rim and lugnuts hot, so hot they burnt my hand and caused a blister. Any suggestions?

Hi there,

Jack up the car with the brakes dragging, crack a bleeder, does this release the brakes? or are they still very tight, this will tell us if it is a hydraulic or mechanical problem.
