1998 Jeep Wrangler low oil pressure noted w/warm engine

Just purchased the Jeep and noted w/after driving approx 1 1/2 hrs on a hot day in Texas that the oil pressure gauge dropped almost to zero while at a stop light, then returned to normal aas soon as I accelerated again.

Could be the oil pressure sending unit or the oil pump pressue relief valve is sticking. Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure sending unit abnormal could mean oil pump or engine bearings.
