I do not know much about your rig.
I recently bought a Dodge shadow---to flip, so I could buy a set of tires for my Jeep CJ 5 and some other necessary stuff too.
The Dash stuff did not work on it either, unless you Smacked the Dash
I can tear into things pretty EZ,
I have a Large set of Every kind of bit imaginable----Christmas present from somebodyIt came from Walmart.
I already do have most of whats included, But this is cool, in the fact that it is ALL TOGETHER in this kit!
There were several types of fasteners holding the Instrument Cluster in the dash.
It was not hard to remove the clusterI let it stay connected to the 2 sets of wires.
While it was attached, with the key on, I wiggled the wires to verify this was where the problem was.
One at a Time, I depessed the latch of the RECTANGULAR CONNECTORI removed and replaced the connector 4-5 times then snapped it back in----I did this to BOTH CONNECTORS.
This sorta scraped and cleaned the connections.
It fixed my problem!
The connection on the cluster was MERELY a printed circuit on a FLOPPY plastic type mat.
If this is not your source, wiggle the stuff around that you can reach.........maybe this will help you!
