Can I change my computer to a 1998 computer becuase it has functions I would like to use such as:
Differnt tire diameter change capibility
Shift point adjustment

I HAVE BEEN TOLD THE 1997 MODEL YEAR COMPUTER DOES NOT HAVE THESE ABILITIES, BUT THE 1998 COMPUTER CAN ADJUST THESE ITEMS.

We recommend direct replacemrnt parts. When you change things like the computer, all of the sensors need changed along with it and it usually causes nothing but problems. Therefore, I'm going to recommend staying with direct fit replacements.
