I replaced the dist/cap/rotor/wires/plugs . my gas mileage went down 6 mpg . don't know what happened????

do you smell gas from the exhaust and also pull the plugs and see what they look like they should be a white ashy color please let me know what you find

how many tanks of gas have you run through to get the milage i am almost wondering if someone might have sifend gas from you late at night fill the tank and try again and let me know

I had that problem a while ago. I put on a locking cap and it took care of that.I'm wondering if the timing is off ?
