I have a 1995 4 cyl jeep wrangler which I think needs a new water pump, how difficult is it to replace? or should I take it to the shop. Is there anything special to do in repacing it?

Pretty easy. You will need to remove the fan shroud, the belt drives, thermostat housing, and both the alternator and power steering pump must be moved out of the way. (Depending on your bracket location for the a/c compressor you might need to unbolt it and just suspend it CAREFULLY out of the way. The fan and clutch assembly can be removed but is not necessary if you have 3/8'' drive extensions. You might find it beneficial to prop the fan clutch upright since some manuals say the fluid inside can leak out; however, these units are hermetically sealed. All the bolts should be of 1/2'' to 9/16" size. Install everything in the reverse order once you place the pump on. About a 2-3 hour chore.
