1995 Jeep Wrangler Slows down on hills

I have noticed that lately, that when hitting even a 3% grade, I have to start downshifting to maintain a slow degredation of speed. What could cause this?

Have you had a tune-up lately? New filters, plugs, plug wires, oil change, etc.. This will help a tremendous amount if you haven't changed any of these lately.
