I crank my 1995 jeep wrangler & it turns overabout 15 times before it starts. then its sluggish starting up & it runs rich & rough idling down like its gona die...it does die sometimes, but will crank after 30 mins or so... sometimes & will after 5 minutes it is bellowing black smoke out the rear tailpipe.

Too rich of a mixture-could be caused by a leaky injector/s or the fuel pressure regulator and clogged fuel return line-Check the fuel pressure.
