is there such a thing as a exhaust dontun? if so would it cause power loss..

Ehaust is loud and was told to put exhust dounut back on ...

there is a such thing as a exhaust donut, it is the gasket that fits where the exhaust manifold and exhaust piping meets.

it can cause a lack of power by messing with the o2 sensors from an exhaust leak.

[Thanks , just bought my first jeep and when bought he stated the noise was the dougnut blew off... and noticed it struggled to get up to 55-60 mph. seemed as if it would get to 50-55mph and that was it

its either that, or an exhaust leak.

maybe even a plugged catalytic convertor which could be causing the noise and power loss.
