Brakes problem
1989 Jeep Wrangler 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual
My jeep has 10" by 2 1/2" wide brake shoes
It is listed to have 9" by 1 3/4" shoes

I work on jeeps for a living in a 4x4 shop. I see this all the time. First check and see if your rearend is actually a jeep rear end. Someone could of swapped another diff. In its place. There should be numbers on the housing just inside of the spring mounts facing to the rear. Cant remember which side but look there. Try and determine that first and get back to us. Thanks Curt

Don't know if this is any help or not, but I had a 1976 Chevy C-10 that I bought brand new that had 10x2 1/2 rear brake shoes on it. So you could take a shoe set into the parts store and compare them.
