I tried starting the vehicle this morning and it would crank but would not start. The only way I could get it to start was to hold down gas pedal. Any help? The fuel pump and injectors were replace about three months ago. (Wrangler model)

Will the engine run okay if you hold the accelerator pedal down just 1/4"? If it does, most likely the battery was recently disconnected or run dead. The Engine Computer immediately stats to rebuild learned data that was lost from memory, except for "minimum throttle". The computer needs to see a very specific set of conditions for that relearn to take place. To meet those conditions, drive at highway speed with the engine warmed up, then coast for at least seven seconds without touching the pedals. Do not shift into neutral or push on the clutch pedal.
