2003 Jeep TJ Third Brake light

I cannot get my 3rd brake light to work correctly. I have replaced the light bulb and did the wiring myself. everything seems to be in order but still not getting it to work. Is there something I'm missing? a fuse perhaps? i mean my other brake lights are still working.

Dunno what model cherokee/wrangler ??? could be coming from the splice where the lower brake lights meets the high mounted light
