1998 Jeep TJ Belt squeaks when the ac or defrost is on

Everything runs great until i turn on the ac or defrost, then the belt will squeak and the battery meter drops to 9. Is the idle control valve bad?

Really sounds like either you AC belt is not tight or WORSE, Your AC compessor/ clutch is locked up and is basically slipping/ burning the belt off

AC/ DEFROST modes activate Mr. Clutch/ Compressor
